Also......

Because getting engaged is not the only amazing thing I did this weekend:

We came down on Thursday night and got up on Friday ready to have an adventure. I had heard (and seen) a lot about the Red Reef trail in Red Cliffs Recreational Area. And it was really sweet. So many fun water falls and swimming holes. I cannot wait to come back in the dead heat of summer. It is everything I love about the Narrows and a lot closer to home (in Saint George).

A couple days ago Trav texted me that he had found and bought ABBAMANIA tickets. He knows me SO well. ABBA is my absolute favorite group. I know every word to every single one of their songs--even the obscure ones. So this is what we did with our afternoon. Just singing and belting all my favorite tunes. It was SO MUCH FUN!

Now, for the reason we came down here in the first place---NEWSIES! I got Trav Newsies tickets for Christmas and this was the weekend! We decided to take the whole day to see some of the sights in Vegas. (I don't love the strip--obviously--but I like getting off the strip and doing fun things)

First we went to The Mirage and checked out the dolphin and wild cat habitats.

Then we went and watched the fountain show and waited to eat a delicious sundae at Serendipity. I have ALWAYS wanted to go there and never have. Obviously I'd like to go to the one in NYC someday but this was really great for now.

Travis bought me some woven flowers from a guy on the sidewalk. I thought they were cute. Although, I suddenly got nervous that they were actually made from drugs somehow.

This is just my favorite picture from the day.

I took these two while walking down to Fashion Show Mall where Trav got a special suite and I got 15% off at Anthropologie for Anthro Day!!

And then we headed over to the Smith Center and watched NEWSIES!!! It was so good. We loved it and sang all the songs on the way home because we liked it so much.

And that was our super fun weekend in Saint George--it was a good time even without being proposed to. I loved it. We are always amazed that we can keep having these killer awesome super amazing weekends. But I think it's because we just get along so well and love all the same things and like spending massive amounts of time together. I guess that means we should get married :)

I DO I DO I DO I DO I DO

I'm getting MARRIED!!!

Here are some silly pictures of our time at the duck pond where he tried to propose two or three times before actually successfully getting on his knee. We are silly and unconventional so this engagement fit us perfectly. Even down to the fact that I have girls guys sweats on.

These are the two pictures I sent people...depending on their sense of humor.

My granny and grumps were there the whole time snapping pictures of us. . . .

I love you, Travis.

I love this beautiful thing!

And I am so grateful for all the love and support we have been given!

two dozen years old

We had originally planned to go to Moab with my sister and brother-in-law this weekend, but after some changes in the original plan we decided to take off for Saint George and visit the grandparents instead. It was a good choice.

Happy #24 sweetheart!
